Engineering and design focused on delivery
Established in the UAE in 2018, Kraufner was founded around structural engineering, technical design and specialist consultancy.
Our work has included structural design, independent design review, BIM-based delivery and technical consultancy for building projects in the UAE and wider Middle East. We work directly with clients and developers, as well as alongside architects, engineering consultants, contractors and specialist project teams.
As the practice develops, Kraufner is broadening its design capability to encompass architecture and interiors, while continuing to build on its established engineering expertise and growing digital capability.
Structural Engineering
Structural analysis, design and technical support from concept and scheme development through detailed design and construction
documentation. Our experience includes reinforced concrete structures, foundations, high-rise buildings, post-tensioned systems, structural BIM and specialist engineering assessment.
Technical Review & Advisory
Independent review and technical advisory services focused on structural performance, design criteria, analytical models, calculations, drawings and project requirements. We support clients and project teams in identifying technical risks, testing design assumptions and resolving complex engineering issues.
Design Management & Technical Delivery
Design coordination and technical delivery support across multidisciplinary projects. Services can include scope definition, design and deliverable review, consultant coordination, technical interfaces, design quality, constructability and support through successive project stages.
Digital Engineering & Automation
Digital tools and workflows developed around real engineering and design processes. Kraufner applies BIM, computational workflows, engineering automation and purpose-built software to reduce repetitive effort, improve consistency and make technical delivery more efficient and auditable.
Architecture & Interior Design
Kraufner is developing an integrated architecture and interior design capability for residential, hospitality and commercial projects. Our approach is intended to combine design quality with technical coordination and delivery, assembling appropriate design and specialist resources to suit the requirements of each commission.
